At the heart of our church is a simple calling:
to know and love like Jesus.

You are welcome here

you are fully known and fully loved

✴︎ Love for Christ..

grow in faith..

go and serve

We are a community of people who believe faith is meant to be lived out through love — love for God, love for one another, and love for the world around us. We strive to follow Jesus by showing grace, compassion, and humility in how we worship, serve, and care for others.

Our congregation is made up of people at different stages of life and faith, learning, questioning, and walking this journey together. We value meaningful worship, thoughtful teaching, prayer, and service that reaches beyond our walls.

Our church has its roots in the Methodist tradition, which shaped our commitment to Scripture, worship, service, and community. Over time, we discerned a need to move forward in a way that more fully aligned with our understanding of how God is calling us to live, love, and serve today.

We remain grounded in Scripture which has revealed Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. When we enter into a relationship with Christ we are forgiven and changed, and want to live our life for Him. At Christ Covenant we want to take the message of Jesus Christ to the world which gives hope.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 2.5.17, NIV

We believe the church should be a place where people are welcomed with grace, where faith is lived authentically, and where love is not just spoken but practiced. We seek to follow Jesus by caring for our neighbors, supporting one another, and creating a space where people from all walks of life can grow in faith together.

Brief History

For over 200 years loyal and faithful families have been a part of our church and have shared the Love of Jesus in Galion. In 2023, we felt we could no longer stay with the United Methodist Church, due to what we felt was a departure from Holy Scripture. We joined other United Methodist Churches and became part of the Global Methodist Church, and changed our name to Christ Covenant. Where we can serve and live out the Scriptural message of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
